Tablet PC or Smart Display
So Microsoft and the "Industry" are pitching these gizmos to business users. Obviously appealing to the people with deep pockets. But the reality is that these are probably most appealing to the couch potatoes who want to surf on a magazine sized device. Can you say "bathroom computer"? It may be gross, but probably not too far from the truth. Personally I like the Compaq (HP) TC1000. They are still a little too expensive for the performance point.
Update:
Maybe what I really want is one of these. ViewSonic's price is likely too high. But this might be the cheaper/more appropriate path to what I really want.
